Israeli Air Strike Kills Five Terrorists

It has been reported that five Palestinian terrorists were killed in an Israeli air strike on one of their training camps this weekend. There are reports the Israelis struck a base used by the Popular Resistance Committee, a group closely tied to the ruling terror group of the Palestinian Authority, Hamas. The group is also being held responsible for numerous rocket attacks against the Jewish State.

The air strike occurred just yards away from the home of the top terror commander one affiliated group, Moumtaz Dourghmush. He was not at home, but one of his brothers and three cousins were killed in the attack. Hamas has granted funding to Dourghmush and offered him training in the past. Israeli officials accuse him of being involved in an attack on a commercial crossing last month.

Israeli officials say that attack was planned in coordination with Hamas, which took over the Palestinian Authority the day after Israeli elections took place at the end of March. The air strike occurred amidst the already tense relationship between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Hamas, which refuses to recognize Israel, is considered a terrorist group by the U.S., Israel, and the European Union.
