Search For Two Missing Boys Continues
As of press time on Thursday, the search for two boys who disappeared last Sunday continued in Milwaukee this week. Police have been searching wooded areas, sewers, vacant houses, and the homes of registered sex offenders in an effort to find Purvis Parker, 11, and Quadrevion Henning, 12. Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz, says, "We haven`t gotten calls from people who`ve said, `I`ve seen them here or there.`"
Officials say a Florida group called A Child Is Missing is helping police in the search, while the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and television show America`s Most Wanted, helped spread the word about the disappearance.
However, Quadrevion`s grandfather, Garry Henning, admits, "I know somebody`s got them." Police have searched using sheer manpower, as well as helicopters and dive teams, in an effort to find the young boys. Purvis` mother, Angela Virginia, spoke on national television, begging for the return of her son and his friend, saying, "If I had a chance, I`d say, `Boys, please come home. We`ve got everybody worried about you guys.` Everybody out here just wants you home."
