Text-Messaging Case Results in Arrest

Authorities have charged a 19-year-old man with having sexual contact with a teen, who sent her mother text messages saying she was being held in a dark basement. There are reports that Sebastian Osario is one of three people being questioned by Jersey City police in connection with the 13-year-old girl`s disappearance.

She claims, simply, to have been raped by two men in New York during the two days she was gone. Police are investigating her claims, as well as her whereabouts during her disappearance. Jersey City police say the girl first met Osario at the Newport Mall about three or four weeks ago.

Authorities say Osario met the girl on Monday after she left school early. They then went their separate ways. The teen`s mother began receiving text messages from her daughter later that day saying someone had followed her and that she was in a dark basement. The girl was found in New York on Thursday.
