Top Terror Leader Killed In Gaza
An explosion in Gaza killed a Palestinian terrorist leader and a gunman killed a settler in the West Bank on Wednesday, earlier this week.Khaled al-Dahdouh, 45, was a commander of the terror group Islamic Jihad`s armed wing. He was driving through Gaza City when his car exploded, and while Israeli officials denied responsibility for the attack, Islamic Jihad blames Israel for the bombing.
Dahdouh reportedly survived eight other assassination attempts against him before the recent explosion. As leader of Islamic Jihad`s "military" wing (all they are about is killing) in Gaza, Dahdouh helped orchestrate attacks on Israel. In a separate incident, gunmen shot a settler while he was working at a petrol station in the northern West Bank.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs` Brigades, another Palestinian terrorist group, claimed responsibility for the attack. However, Israeli authorities say the killing may have been the result of a crime, as sometimes happens in Israel. When such killings take place, they are either reported as "nationalist" (terrorist) in nature or "criminal".
