Charles and Camilla start US tour

Without the pomp and circumstance that one might have seen twenty-years ago, Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla arrived in the U.S. on Tuesday, making a stop in the "Big Apple" for a visit to "Ground Zero." The royal couple went to Hanover Square to unveil a memorial park to the 67 Britons who were murdered when two hijacked jets slammed into the World Trade Center by terrorists on September 11, 2001.

Prince Charles, who met with families in private before the unveiling ceremony says, "Our hearts go out to you today as they did on that dreadful day."

The prince and duchess are scheduled this week to meet with hurricane victims in New Orleans, homeless residents in San Francisco, and President Bush at the White House for lunch and an official state dinner. The royals also visited the Museum of Modern Art with actor Robert De Niro, Steven Spielberg, Sting, former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and actress Kim Catrall.
