Ahmadinejad is at it again

Iran`s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for the third time in a little over a week expressed doubts over the Holocaust on Wednesday, calling it a "Jewish Myth" and said that a Jewish state should be set up in Alaska. Last week, he said Israel should be moved to Europe. Ahmadinejad even called down the ire of close ally Russia last week with his comments about the Holocaust then. World governments, and even the UN, were quick to denounce those comments.

In related news, the Swedish parliament has cut all parliamentary contacts with the Majilis, the Iranian parliament, following the receipt of a letter by the speaker of the Swedish parliament from Reuven Rivlin, the speaker of the Knesset (Israel`s parliament in Jerusalem) which was sent to the heads of eighty parliamentary bodies around the world urging swift actions to condemn both Ahmedinejad`s recent remarks and his remarks in October calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map."

Iran may face United Nations Security Council sanctions in response to its nuclear ambitions, and a report from the Israeli military chief said that Iran could have the possibility or ability to start construction nuclear weapons starting by next March. Israel is especially wary of a nuclear Iran, which has been dedicated to Israel`s destruction since the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
