Man Rescued from Water Tower 200 Feet in the Air
Imagine you were on the top of a water tower - 200 feet in the air - and you couldn`t get down? One can only imagine how frightening that would be. One man had to go through this difficult and scary situation but luckily was rescued, unharmed.
A rescue team used a basket and a pulley system to save a man who had a medical emergency on a 200-foot water tower at Andrews Air Force Base Monday. Joshua Dinson, 23, was part of a crew doing maintenance on the tower when he `experienced some sort of medical emergency,` said Prince George`s County Fire and Rescue spokesman Mark Brady, reports The Associated Press.
He is an electrical engineer for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, said agency spokesman Al Richardson. A high-angle rescue team used a pulley system with ropes anchored to the ground to lower Dinson from the tower.
