Microsoft Lap Top Give-Away Goes Astray

In a promotional campaign gone bad, Microsoft decided to send off Acer Ferrari 5000 lop tops to influential bloggers, on the primes that these bloggers, who write about what they do, will put up a posting on the lap tops performance and its operating system Microsoft`s Vista. While the lap top come with no strings attached, many bloggers suspect any action made by Microsoft as purely evil and in this case the concern is bribery.

Bloggers who received the lap tops are faced with a dilemma, whither or not to write a post on the topic as this could seem like one is bending to the whims of Microsoft, which as above mentioned not a popular entity in some circles. Appearing in tech get-togethers with the Acer Ferrari, which is quite noticeable due to its shiny red carbon-fiber cover, could result in heavy taunting by individuals in the blogoshphere.

The blogosphere is teaming with text regarding this incident and as the media mogul William Randolph Hearst put it: "There is no such thing as bad publicity."
