New Firefox Version 2.0 for Online Users
Mozilla, the company best known for creating and releasing the superb web browser, Firefox, has recently released its new version of the popular browser, Firefox 2.0. Webmasters, network managers, and online users everywhere who use Firefox will be happy to know that the new and improved version is now available. With nearly 80 percent of the extensions supported, and the rest to be relatively quickly, webmasters everywhere can begin using this product for their convenience.
Some of the features offered by Firefox 2.0 include the ability to preview RSS feeds and a facility for subscribing to feeds that works with most feed readers. Webmasters will find this convenient and useful. In addition, Firefox 2.0 offers on-the-fly inline spell checking for blogs, Web forms, and discussion posts. It offers built-in ID theft phishing protection. It also includes a feature called Session Restore, for resuming a previous browser session. Webmasters and online users alike can reopen an accidentally closed tab.
One new feature, Live Titles, is a little confusing at first, but the advantage of having this feature is that webmasters can change the Live Title information on their web pages as content changes on their sites. The text automatically will change in the user?s bookmark, giving a textual indication of what is new. Firefox 2.0 might eliminate the need for some of the extensions you previously used as well. Webmasters should definitely check out this new web browser version and see how much easier surfing the web and updating sites can be.
