BenQ to Release Vista-Enabled Screens

Microsoft`s control over the personal computers market is unquestionable, and many companies try to ride their success. Windows Vista, Microsoft`s next operating system, will surely become a standard in about 90 percent of all home computers, and the market is starting to shift towards the Vista brand name. As with Microsoft`s previous operating system, Windows XP, companies are starting to market their product lines with Vista in mind. For example, AMD, the second largest CPU manufacturer, went even further and named an entire product line "Athlon-XP" to show consumers that their products are XP oriented.

BenQ, leader in computer accessories manufacturing, announced that three new flat-panel monitors will be released in the near future, and that all of them will be marked with Microsoft`s `Works with Windows Vista` logo. Most of the "home users" market is going to use Vista, and having such a mark on one`s products is a sure receipt for increased sales. As Vista`s release date, January 2007, comes closer, we will see more and more products that carry the `Vista proof` seal.

The new products target video loving users, and BenQ says they have came up with crystal clear monitors for moving pictures. Two of the screens have a 19 inch display, while the third one, considered as the "premium" model, brings a 24 inch display. BenQ indicated that the first two models of monitors can be found in stores starting December, and that the premium model will be released shortly after.
