People browsing through the site will be able to contact products` owners to discus the product for sale and even negotiate the purchase. eBay aims at eliminating any frication that might be cause from a sale. Some time people have questions they want to ask about the products and giving them the possibility to talk with the owner is a great new feature.
eBay is looking at the new feature as a strategic move. Both PayPal and Skype are considered to be the top two service providers that deal with online acquisition, and by combining the two on their site, eBay is offering users the most complete package for online purchasing. The new service is titled "Skype me" and will be offered, as for now, in only a few of eBay`s auctions.
