AOL Testing New Email System
Email has become the most popular form of online communication, and online mail service providers are constantly improving their offering to attract user. With Google`s Gmail launch in 2004, the market has transformed to a multi-giga byte storage market, with companies offering more and more online storage spaces for Internet Users. AOL is joining the efforts and launches a beta version of its new email system. The new system brings better search options for inner-email search and a solid integration between online mail and AOL`s acclaimed AOL Pictures service.
The new system enables users to interact with their AOL Pictures account when communicating by email. Users could attach any picture from their account to any email, and will be able to save any attached picture they receive directly into their AOL Pictures directory. Offering users with improved tools and easier ways to use their email more efficiently is the objective that AOL is aiming for.
New test features enable users to search through the entire textual content of their email account, rather than searching subject lines or senders alone. The new system is available for testing to all AOL users that have an AOL or AIM account. So if you have one hop to AOL`s website and give the new email system a go.
