Microsoft Advances Its Internet Products

Redmond`s giant, Microsoft, is expanding their infrastructure for future invasion into additional Internet fields, with a new partnership with Internet service provider Qwest. Microsoft`s Internet security software will be shipped with Qwest`s high-speed Internet service. Qwest is currently offering its users a package of Internet security applications and now Microsoft`s software will be part of that package.

Microsoft will soon release its Live OneCare software that is aimed at protecting users from all Internet hazards and keep computers running efficiently. Microsoft Live OneCare will be offered to Qwest customers along with Windows Live-branded e-mail and other programs. Both Microsoft and Qwest have not disclosed any launch date yet.

Qwest representative said that users would be given a choice between the current package that includes MSN and McAfee or the new one that involves the entire Windows Live package once it is released. Microsoft is planning a forced entry into the online market with new anti-virus, search, and online security technologies. With Windows Vista`s release and Microsoft`s new products hit the market we will probably hear of many other new business partnerships with the Redmond giant.
