Microsoft Releases New Information Search Product
Seattle based software giant, Microsoft, has announced that it will soon release a new test version for a new search product for corporate companies. Microsoft`s product will help employees find information on their computers faster and will make their work more effective. The new search tool is Microsoft`s next move to counter search engine leader, Google.
Windows Live Search will be released this summer as a free beta version, and will be an add-on to Microsoft`s current search tool offering. Microsoft is currently offering users to freely download their previous information scouring tool, and Windows Live Search will become available shortly. Windows Live Search will also be included in Microsoft`s upcoming new operating system, Vista.
Only companies that are using Microsoft`s SharePoint server software will be able to use Windows Live Search`s ability to search corporate networks. Microsoft is offering a complete package of information management for corporate companies, and hopes that it will be helpful in blocking Google`s progress in the desktop market. Google is offering Google Desktop for home and business users, and Microsoft`s new package offers customers with a many new features that will make Google`s future uneasy.
