Apple iTunes And Video Games at the Same Time
Enjoying playing video games? Can`t stop listening to music from iTunes? Now it is possible to combine them both simultaneously. Starting this October, video games players will be able to listen to music files on the Apple`s iTunes website and buy them at the same time with playing video games, thanks to a startup video-game developer, Left Behind Games Inc.
The company`s president and cofounder Jeff Frichner explained how it all works: "After each game level you win, a reward screen pops up with the name of the song and artist. The link takes the person to the album track on the iTunes site."
By clicking the links the player pauses the game and launches the iTunes Music Store page that features the song. After downloading the music, the game starts again from the point where it left off. The game is aimed at PC, while in the future it will probably be possible to use it with the Macintosh operating system as well. As any games now come with special soundtracks, the importance of the game-music combination rises constantly. The Left Behind Games` project, therefore, is expected to be a great success.
