Multibutton Wireless Mouse Released by Apple

Breaking the tradition of making mice which have just one single button, Apple released last year its first multibutton mouse, the Mighty Mouse. Now Apple releases a Bluetooth-powered wireless version of Mighty Mouse. The original mouse existed only in USB cord form, which was very inconvenient for many customers, such as on-the-road Macintosh users.

The new mouse works with any Mac running version 10.4.6 of the OS X Tiger operating system that has Bluetooth 2.0 wireless connectivity. All you need to power it is just two AA batteries. It`s design is lightly different from most multibutton mice ? instead of the split-button it features a shell that covers two touch sensors for right- and left-button clicking.

There are also a scroll ball, which allows left-right, up-down and diagonal scrolling, and two additional sensor buttons on the side that can be squeezed to reveal OS X`s array of Dashboard widgets or another application a user may choose. The wireless Mighty Mouse costs $69, which is $20 more than its tailed predecessor.
