Chinese Mobile Phones Worldwide

The largest mobile phone manufacturers in China will probably develop even more and grow into a real international giant. Huawei, the biggest Chinese phone maker, has been selling equipment and handsets outside China for 10 years, but last year international sales revenue surpassed domestic sales for the first time.

Heavy Reading chief analyst Scott Clavenna explains: "With the benefit of an expanding Chinese telecom sector driving basic revenue growth, and substantial economic support from China`s government, Huawei has been able to broaden its product line and address emerging market opportunities throughout the globe".

Huawei works with 28 of the top 50 network operators around the world and has around 35,000 employees. The Asia Pacific region is its most important market, with offices in 13 countries. China`s mobile makers cannot not to be happy with the recent global demand for handsets and various kinds of equipment. This demand is what makes Huawei to expand worldwide. The mobile phone manufacturers around the globe believe that consolidation on the market will surely make them join forces in the nearest future.
