Nike + iPod is All You Need to Start Exercising
Nike + iPod Wireless Sport Kit is the first product of the Apple-Nike partnership. It was introduced at a press conference a couple of months ago, but it is available in stores only now. This sophisticated kit can really be a motive for you to get on track and start running on regular basis. It records distance, time, pace and even calories that you burn.
Afterwards, the results can be transferred from iPod Nano, the only one that can be used with the kit, to the computer. There is a special website, where you can set up some goals (for example, how many times you want to run over a specific period) and set distance, speed or other challenges. Beside all the innovations the kit offers to you, you can also choose the iPod music to go with your workout.
Apple is selling Nike+ Workout playlists at the iTunes Music Store with music and coaching tips. From time to time during your run, a male or female voice indicates the progress you`ve made so far. In a way, Nike + iPod leaves you hungry for more. It would be nice if it could check your pulse and heart rate. But in that case it would probably cost more than it does now.
