New Beta Release for Internet Explorer

Microsoft is nearing the final release of its new Internet Explorer and releases Internet Explorer 7 beta 3. The new beta version will be the last one before the product enters the Release Candidate stage in a couple of months. Microsoft is unwilling to disclose any detail about the official release date of the consumer version.

Microsoft is still collecting feedback from beta testers and will continue to do so until the final product is released. "We`ve received more feedback on Web site compatibility than anything else, but some of that is out of our control," said Schare. "We can reach out to [those sites] and offer them help, but they`re on their own schedule."

"The reason why we locked down the address bar was to avoid spoofing attacks," Schare said. "And other interface changes were impossible because we wanted to make tabs work seamlessly." The new Internet Explorer version targets online security and privacy protection issues, and those are the main upgrades and changes. The new beta version can be downloaded from Microsoft`s site, but remember that this version is far from what the final product will look and feel like. Take your own chances and keep that in mind so you will not be disappointed.
