Flash Conference On Its Way

The world of Flash animation has grown significantly in the past few years. Almost every site on the web has some Flash technology integrated into it. From online casino sites to banner ads, it seems that flash is taking over. This February, Flashforward2006 Seattle will be hosting attendees from all over the world who are interested in learning from the best minds in the Flash community. Countries such as Ghana, South Africa, and Denmark will be represented at the 4-day conference set to take place at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.

Sponsored by industry leader Adobe Systems, Inc., Flashforward2006 is the largest and longest-running conference in the world focused on Flash?. In a period of six years, the conference has been attended by over 20,000 professionals from more than 45 countries in industries ranging from design to animation to motion graphics. This year, Flashforward2006 Seattle will house exhibits and over 60 workshops and sessions, conducted by acclaimed speakers and industry professionals, all designed to give attendees a competitive edge in the market.

The conference also boasts the 15th Flashforward Film Festival, where works showcasing the latest Flash techniques in 16 categories, ranging from Original Sound to Best Story, will compete for the Big Rubber Orange Arrow and title of best in their category. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony taking place Wednesday.
