Webmasters Can Now Get Statistical Site Analysis

To upgrade a website to fit your visitors` needs it helps to know who actually visits your site. Because spam has become such an issue on the web in the past few years, getting surfers to fill out their info is becoming more and more difficult. The solution for this problem lies in the statistical analysis of the website. Host Color, a US shared web hosting provider has announced it will make available the popular Php My Visites to its customers. The web stats software will be one of the pre-installed tools the company offers. The web hosting provider has recently developed a new version of its Next Color control panel which allows quick integration of open source web development tools in it.

The Php My Visites software is a web statistics system that relies on JavaScript , PHP and a MySQL database to record and track visitors of a website. Host Color customers will be able to install it by filling in a simple form in their control panel. The advantage that Php My Visites has over similar systems is that it is quick, functional and very flexible. By using it customers can track the visits to a number of websites they run, even if they are not all hosted by Host Color.

The new web statistics software will help webmasters better manage their website promotion and marketing channels. They can get detailed reports on the countries from which the visits to their site came from, as well as on referring sites and search engine keywords. Host Color has also recently announced a webmaster contest. The hosting company invited authors of articles related to website industry to create their own accounts in the company`s web hosting forum and to post their work in the section "Resource Toolbox". The best ten Articles chosen by votes of the Host Color Forum members will be awarded with publications in Yahoo and Google news.
