Web Traffic Listings for November Published

Most internet users will not be surprised to learn that search giant Google has overthrown Yahoo from the second place on the most visited online websites list of November. Microsoft held the first place on the list firmly, as the release of Vista is rounding the corner, the hype around Microsoft is higher than ever. ComScore reported that about 736 million people from all over the world were circulating online during November, with some 475,713 visiting Google, and 475,262 traveling to Yahoo`s site. This is a remarkable change, as Yahoo was considered to be the most visited site in American until not very long ago.

Just a few weeks ago, MySpace passed Yahoo in the total amount of visitors, showing that Yahoo is losing a significant market share, and that the sites` offerings are obsolete. Yahoo announced that a major change is on the way, and that the site will change in the largest capacity since its launch very soon. Microsoft enjoyed web traffic of more than 500,000 people, showing how large Vista`s impact is over the net. People are constantly looking for information regarding the new operating systems, and apparently they are going straight to the source.

Other mentionable rankings are: YouTube, placed at number 10 making a huge leap in the percentage of visitors, jumping from 2,000 to 107,944 visitors. YouTube keeps growing at alarming rates. eBay was placed as forth, with thousands of people heading to the auction site during November, probably looking for a good deal on some Christmas gifts before it is too late.
