Adobe Opens CSS Guidance Website

Adobe Systems` products are extensively used in many web development production lines. The company has realizes that there are growing issues in web development, and decided to address the matter. Adobe has announced the launch of a website portal that will cater for people that are running in trouble during their work. CSS Advisor, the new portal, will document these problems and offer solutions and workarounds.

"With CSS Advisor, the problem that we set out to solve is that people are wasting a huge amount of time trying to make their pages look the same across different browsers," said Adobe product manager. With Adobe purchasing Dreamweaver not too long ago, many of the latter`s technologies have been incorporated into Adobe`s products, and Adobe wants to offer support for any issues that might come across using different technologies on different platforms.

Although CSS Advisor is planted with bundles of information, the site is community-based, and Adobe expects users to take an active part in making it successful. People could post their questions, while other readers can answer and provide new solutions and ideas. The concept is that when so many people are developing for web applications, there`s no central gathering place for people to converse. Adobe will administrate the site and make sure that wrong information is not listed in the forums, and only relevant and helpful tips are kept available. People who are experiencing problems with CSS, and other web development procedures can turn to the site and find guidance.
