Adobe Releases New Reader Version with Many Updates

Adobe Reader, one of the most popular applications for document creation and distribution, has now available in a new version. Adobe Systems, developer of Reader and other industry leading software such as Adobe Photoshop, released Adobe Reader 8 for both Windows users and Mac OS X. The new version is available for free on the company`s site. Adobe`s PDF format, which stands for Portable Document Format, is an industry standard for digital document creation and consummation and there are millions of people using it for various tasks around the world.

The new version comes with some interesting new features. Adobe Reader 8 supports Adobe Acrobat Connect, and online collaboration service that integrate Flash technology. Adobe acquired Flash`s developer, Macromedia, not to long ago, and the company is integrating the Flash platform in most of its top products. The new version also features graphic acceleration that makes the use easier and more fluent.

The Mac version of the application also brings some news. This is the first version of Adobe Reader that is written especially for Intel-running Mac machines. Intel has taken a strong hold over the Mac market, and the new Macs are running Intel chipsets. Adobe is giving the new Mac users a version that has been modified for their new needs and it seems that the new Reader version targets exactly the right crowed. Reader 8 is available in currently available in English, French, German and Japanese with more international version are scheduled for future release.
