Ericsson and Intel to Work on Fast Mobile Internet
History shows that when industry leaders are working together, boundaries are broken. Hopefully, this will be the end result of a new collaboration between two of the industry`s top developers, Ericsson and Intel. The Swedish telecoms equipment marker announced on Friday that the company will work with Intel, the biggest chip maker in the world, on applications for mobile computers. The two companies are aiming at turning the mobile market into an attractive option for users looking for high broadband services, a segment of the market that has no solution that meets his demands.
By working on stronger broadband connections and platforms, Ericsson and Intel will be able to offer a large range of mobile products that will appeal to both consumers and corporations. Most technology users today use mobile devices, and enhancing the communication capabilities of those devices will surely gain success, market-share wise. The new solutions will be based on Ericsson`s HSPA platform for mobile broadband, and Intel will work on providing supplemental chipsets for the architecture.
Both companies are regarded as the leading forces in their specialty, and the new collaboration seems very promising. It`s time that broadband connections will become available for mobile users, and people are able to take their business with them on the road. The internet has become an inseparable element of many tasks, and mobile broadband means taking our everyday online routines with us everywhere we travel. Intel currently offers many solutions for the mobile market, but demand for faster and more stable connection exists. Ericsson hopes that working with Intel will answer that particular demand very soon.
