Vista Available for Businesses

Microsoft`s new operating system is finally here. Although home users will have to wait two more months for the home edition, business companies are now able to upgrade to Windows Vista. The `Business Version` of Vista is available, and the tension is high. As with previous launches of Windows, Microsoft also releases a new version of its acclaimed application pack, Microsoft`s Office 2007. The additional versions of Vista, specifically the home version, will launch on January 30, 2007.

Microsoft said that the new version of Windows is `rock solid` and started sending the software to computer programmers and manufacturers that will adopt their product to the system. The computer market is in for a major change, as more developers adopt the new operating system and offer products for it. Windows XP, Microsoft`s current operating system was launched back in 2001, and a lot has changed in the world of computers since then.

Security-wise, the new Vista is completely different than Windows XP and delivers more security than ever. One of the best features that businesses will surely like is that only users with administration privileges can install new software on the system. That way malware will not be installed, and people that have no access will not be able to influence the system. As more people use the new system we will hear more about it and how secure it really is. It will take a few weeks until a clearer picture will be available. Nonetheless, these are exciting times.
