Nokia and Yahoo to Bring Mobile Email Services

More and more people are using their mobile devices to run their lives. Our mobile phones become so advanced that we can perform almost any operation with one single click. As people become more mobile and less attached to desktop terminals, online companies are looking for ways to offer the same services ? only in a mobile fashion. Most phones today are equipped with an internet connection and many tasks can be preformed on the road. Last week Nokia and Yahoo announced the expansion of their partnership, and Nokia will offer Yahoo services on their mobile devices.

People will be able to use their Nokia product to access the net and check their inboxes. They will be able to send and receive emails just as if they were using their home computer, or business laptop. The new service also enables users to use Yahoo`s messaging service through Nokia devices. By combining such online services with the mobility of Nokia`s devices, the service package is highly useful for many types of users. As a first step, the new service will be available on the new Nokia 6300, Nokia 5300 XpressMusic and Nokia 5200 product lines. Nokia will expand the availability of the service to a wider selection of its products in the upcoming months.

Currently, there are other ways to use email services on your mobile device, and there are many unsupported applications that can help you connect to your email through your mobile phone. Many such applications support Gmail services, but the scope of the support and availability isn`t close to the one Nokia is now offering.
