New Update for REAL basic 2006

REAL basic 2006 Release 2 was released this week by REAL Software. The new release continues the company`s line of delivering updates for customers based on a 90-day rapid release cycle. "We continually look for ways to improve REAL basic, and this new version is no exception," stated Geoff Perlman, president and CEO of REAL Software, Inc.

"For this release, we focused specifically on quality and reliability to underscore our commitment to customer satisfaction. We recommend REAL basic 2006 Release 2 to users who may have been waiting to move beyond REAL basic 5.5." REAL basic 2006 Release 2 delivers over 150 improvements throughout the product. This includes improvements to the code editor, window editor, project editor, the compiler and built applications. This release also includes a new version of Lingua?, a utility first included in REAL basic 2006 Release 1 for localizing applications.

REAL basic 2006 Release 2 also includes a number of new features, including an update to the code editor to hide events that contain no code and additional mouse cursors, including invisible, show and hide cursor commands.
