ISPCON Fall 2005 Convention to Take Place



ISPCON Fall 2005 will take place October 18th-20th at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California, and will be one of the key technology conventions of the year. Themed `The Next Era of Competition,` the ISPCON Fall 2005 conference will focus on moving forward in the Internet services industry with unparalleled service levels, emerging technologies, available markets and abounding opportunities to compete and prosper, as well as the challenges in technology and business opportunities found today.

On the first day of the show, Tuesday, October 18th, 2005 from 2:00 to 3:00p.m., Charles E. Hoffman, President and CEO of Covad Communications Group, will discuss how Covad`s recent moves in VoIP and wireless are helping to mitigate the challenges of policy shifts in DC. Their bottom line - to yield the innovative broadband services that were originally intended for customers - with or without the FCC`s help. Covad`s CEO will discuss how the company is making that dream a reality with services such as Voice over IP and WiMAX.

On Wednesday, October 19th, from 10:00 to 11:00a.m., web hosting power-houses will take the stage for a depth-charged hosting keynote panel titled, `Hosting 2.0: Building the Uber-Host.` Moderator and attorney, David Snead, will lead the discussion between Warren Adelman, the COO of GoDaddy, Robert Marsh, the CEO of EV1Servers, Mark Teolis, the CTO of Peer 1 Networks, and Paul Stapleton, an Industry Analyst and Banker with the I$P HOSTING Report. The keynote gathers visionaries behind powerful companies driving explosive gains with diverging strategies such as organic growth, lateral business expansion, roll-ups, vertical market segmentation and aggressive marketing of broadening service portfolios in the new world of hosting and web services.
