Death Blamed on Video Game

It seems more and more each day violent behavior is being attributed to video games and violent television shows and movies. Violent forms of media have been, and continue to be, controversial subjects among parents and government officials. Now, a violent video game is going being blamed for a man`s murder police officers.

The Associated Press reports the sentencing of a man to death in Alabama for the murders of two officers and a dispatcher at a rural police station. The victims` relatives blame the slayings on the killer`s obsession with a violent video game.

In June 2003, Moore murdered the entire night shift of the Fayette Police Department. Devin Moore showed no emotion as the judge sentenced him to death by injection, but he apologized to his victims` families beforehand.
Moore had been arrested on suspicion of car theft but grabbed an officer`s gun and killed the three men.
