DB Maintenance has Auto Logout Users

Using SQL Servers for Access developers is many times enjoyable. The back end of them provides easy-to-do maintenance. Many times, you can tour around an office to ask others to log out, simply to find that users have their client open and connected to the data. Too many times, the offender is at lunch or away from their desks, with their desktops locked. After a great deal of frustration, a solution to the problem was found. A few simple components were developed that could be added to any Access database. This made access much easier for the developer. The form, frmLogoutTimer, contains the following code on its Timer event. Note that the default interval is shown below as 30,000, which amounts to 10 seconds. This value can be increased so that the timer is not firing so often. Remember that an interval of 3000 equates roughly to a second, so you would have to set the Interval property to 180,000 for a minute and 900,000 for 5 minutes.
