GT Software Joins Forces with MomentumSI

Two leading hi-tech companies, MomentumSI, and GT Software, Inc., have formed an alliance to work together to produce joint solutions to businesses seeking greater agility, IT/Business alignment, and the adoption of SOA initiatives. A Systems Integrator and professional services organization, MomentumSI is giant in its field, while GT Software, Inc., is a leading provider of rapid SOA development for the mainframe.

`MomentumSI has a deep understanding of what it takes to build a successful SOA and they recognized early that the mainframe is a valuable component,` said Wilson Rains, Vice President of Alliances at GT Software, Inc. `Our partnership is vital to mainframe organizations that want to incorporate SOA best practices and tools across the enterprise. `Under the agreement, MomentumSI and GT Software will engage in joint sales and marketing efforts, in addition to MomentumSI being equipped to deliver Ivory-based solutions for enterprises that want to include the mainframe as an active participant in their SOA initiatives.

GT Software`s Ivory? solution secures the mainframe`s position as an active participant in an SOA by enabling the deployment of mainframe-based business services that fuel enterprise initiatives. Using Ivory, mainframe developers can graphically orchestrate mainframe transaction, application, data, and web services into multi-step, multi-operation business services with no formal training required. `GT Software clearly addresses the challenges our clients face when bringing mainframe functionality into their standards-based SOA environments,` said Alex Rosen, principal of MomentumSI. `The Ivory suite supports our work in rapidly packaging complex mainframe functionality into highly performant and easily reusable business services without writing code.`
