Now Business Cards Can Play Video Games, Too
For salespeople, their lasting impression can sometimes boil down to the last thing they leave you with - their bussiness card. Forget about the old fashioned business cards that were plain and in ink. Today, there is a business card that is so technically advanced, it can even play video games. The card, a mini-CD, is packed full of information, leaving potential customers with more than just the salesperson`s, and company`s, name.
Computer technology has now entered into the business card arena and everything has changed. A CD business card uses the same technology as a any full size CDs that may contain your data files or music. The only difference is size. These cards are small, smaller than a credit card, and they are flat on the top and bottom. They can easily slide into a wallet or be carried in a shirt pocket. They will play in nearly every Windows PC computer ever made. Take a minute and slide open the tray of your PC`s CD drive. You will see the large circle formed into the tray, designed to hold a full size CD. Now look closer and your will see a smaller circle molded into the tray specifically designed to hold mini CDs such as business card CDs.
Robert Cochrane, president and CEO of `Runpoint Marketing & Media` reports that his company has been making these cards for small and large businesses for over two years. A complete presentation made from a client`s video, Powerpoint presentation, or web site costs $125 for the first master disk. Duplicated disks are $1.55 each in quantities of over 1000. The CDs come with full color labels and are inserted into vinyl plastic sleeves. What makes these cards such powerful sales tools is that when a sales prospect receives one of these CDs, they are receiving a full multimedia presentation about the company and its products and services. The presentation can contain, photos, music, slideshows, and a video. The fact that a company`s salespeople are using these new cards will by itself make a statement that it is on the cutting edge of technology.
