HDFEST World`s Only High-Definition Film Festival Presented by Intel

If you love films, and you adore the world of hi-tech, then you will definitely want to consider attending the world`s only high definition film festival, HDFEST. The Hollywood Pacific Theatre`s ETC Digital Cinema Lab, as well as the Dolby Laboratories` Larry Umlang Presentation Theatre II in Burbank, will both play host to the festival. The event will include High-Def movie screenings, High-Def filmmaking panels, festival parties and the HDFEST 2005 Deffie Award Ceremony.

HDFEST Los Angeles is the final event in the 2005 HDFEST World Tour, which included previous events this year in New York, Helsinki, London, and South Florida. HDFEST 2005 opening night will be on December 1st at the Hollywood Pacific Theatre. The majority of festival events will be taking at Dolby Laboratories` Theatre utilizing 2K projection and state-of-the-art sound.

On Sunday night, December 4th, HDFEST will present the HDFEST 2005 Deffie Award Ceremony at the Dolby Laboratories` Larry Umlang Presentation Theatre II. The annual HDFEST Deffie Awards recognize achievement in High Definition filmmaking.
