Cell Phones for Senior Safety

RMS Communications Group Inc., and N.A.T.I. (National Association of Triads, Inc., recently announced their joint partnership to help provide 911 emergency cell phones for senior citizens. As one of the nation`s leading recyclers and re-marketers of used cell phones, RMS Communications has become part of the law enforcement, senior citizens, and community groups protection organization. It was formed to promote senior safety and to reduce the fear of crime that seniors often experience. The American Association of Retired Persons (now AARP), the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the National Sheriffs` Association (NSA) formed Triad in 1988.

The partnership with N.A.T.I. should make the 911 cell phones program more widely known to police agencies throughout the nation. `We are delighted to partner with N.A.T.I.,` said James Mosieur, chief executive officer of RMS Communications Group Inc. `This affiliation should greatly increase the reach of 911 Cell Phone Bank, and should put many more 911 emergency phones into the hands of the senior citizens who can make good use of them.`

`Our programs are not-for-profit organizations dependent on volunteers and funds or in-kind donations from local communities. RMS has a proven record of senior safety concerns and has taken steps to alleviate some of the operating costs for our local Triads. We are pleased to welcome them as a Triad partner and our first Corporate Sponsor of NATI, as well,` offers NATI Program Director, Edward Hutchison.
