North Carolina`s Triangle region is making headlines. One of its native companies, Blue Shoe Technologies, Inc., a dynamic IT professional services company specializing in Communications Triage solutions, has recently received an award for being one of the fastest growing private companies in the area. This took place at the Triangle Business Journal`s annual Fast 50 Awards ceremony on November 3rd, 2005.

The Durham-based Blue Shoe ranked 27th overall on the list of 50, and was in the top five IT professional services companies. The overall rankings were determined by Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, who evaluated and ranked locally headquartered private companies based on a formula that takes into account both dollar growth and percentage rate of growth over a three-year period.
