New Mobile Satellite System Released

Shipments of Audiovox Corporation`s first satellite TV Antenna system, SkyBox, has begun. Now, customers can add live TV to their mobile video experience with this digital mobile antenna. The system is designed to receive all direct-to-home DBS providers in the U.S., ExpressVU in Canada, as well as the Dish Network.

The ability to provide satellite TV to a moving vehicle has eluded manufacturers for a long time but not any longer. Its ultra-low profile antenna design is only 5.7-inches high. The system features sophisticated satellite searching, recognition and tracking capability that is fully automated and GPS-based.
