ASA Appoints Steve Taylor as Technology Chairman

Steve Taylor, President of VCG, has recently been appointed the ASA`s Technology Advisory Group chairman. The developer of StaffSuite and WebPAS software solutions, VCG is a leader in in its field. And now its president will be heading the ASA.

Steve Taylor states, `It is an honor to be able to lead the Technology Advisory Group. With the rapid rate of change in the industry, it is our goal to bring together business and technology to drive innovations that will benefit our customers and grow the industry to new levels. Technology can lead to increased efficiencies and profitability, both are of increasing importance in an industry faced with stiff competition, a tight workforce pool and declining margins.`

`The mission of TAG is to advise the ASA board of directors, committees and staff on how to adopt technologies that would best improve industry productivity. The group represents all staffing industry technologies and will develop a multi-year strategy to be incorporated by suppliers and communicated to staffing companies to help them better adapt technology to improve their operations and the industry as a whole.`
