Webmaster Community Celebrates 1st Year Success

eWebTalk, an online community created in August 2004 for professional and non-professional webmasters, provides an understanding and caring atmosphere where matters concerning this field can be openly discussed. This month, administrators Mohmed G. and Affaf A. are celebrating their one year anniversary by holding a contest with a grand prize of a 20 GB Apple iPod. Other prizes, such as a ClientExec License and a Reseller Hosting Package are also offered. eWebTalk feels that this is a great way to give back to their supportive community.

The community has also expanded to include many new tools, and redeveloped old features to allow for better functionality and usability for eWebTalk members. Affaf (A.Ah) was asked to elaborate on the new and exciting tools which are now being featured on the site. `We have brought back eArmy, which was a feature to our community in the very beginning and due to our complete makeover in January, we had to abandon the project, but now we can proudly state that we are the only community based on the vBulletin software which has this unique and exciting add-on.` Along with eArmy, eMasters, which consists of tools for webmasters, was completely redone from the ground up to include tools such as full comparative link popularity reports, SERP position rankings, and search index reports.

This contest consists of a referral system, in which members will refer members, and for each referral, they will be entered into a draw for there chance to win an iPod. However, the iPod is not the only prize in this exciting contest. Due to sponsors, and fellow members, there are prizes such as an owned ClientExec License and Reseller Hosting package. When Mohamed (CEO) was asked regarding the purpose of the contest, he stated, `We hope to return something back to the community which has given so much from its expertise and dedication. This contest will strengthen the bonds in all levels of the company due to the nature of the contest. The iPod, ClientExec license, and reseller hosting are not the only prizes being offered during the contest, there is also a mini raffle which will allow the recipient to receive free domain names as well as hosting.

The future for eWebTalk is looking prosperous with its community growing and expanding every day. The close-knit ties within the community have allowed its members to ponder on very severe and sensitive topics without any fear of any kind. Mohamed states, `A community which is close yet helpful and understanding, is by far the best thing an administrator can hope for.`
