VeriSign to Host European Domain Forum in Frankfurt, Germany

As part of the forum, VeriSign will also be providing new educational research on consumer and business behavior regarding Internet usage. The research will examine Internet behaviors from consumers and businesses in three key European markets: Germany, the United Kingdom, and Spain. Currently, more country-code top level domains (ccTLDs) are registered in Germany than in any other nation. Out of the more than 63 million registered domain names in the world, country-code level domains account for nearly 40 percent of all domains. The most country-code level domain names are registered in Germany and the United Kingdom.
