Colts enter playoffs No. 3
It is not the first time for the Indianapolis Colts to make it into the playoffs. In 2003 they lost their wild Card match. Then a year later they fell to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. In 2005 they lost to the same team and last year, in 2006, they lost to the champions Pittsburgh Steelers. This season, the Colts started 9-0 but have since lost four games and finished the regular season 12-4, making them the third best team in the AFC to enter the playoffs.
But the question with Peyton Manning`s team is what will they do in January? Manning threw for two touchdowns and ran 11 yards for a score on their way to a 27-22 win over the Miami Dolphins. The colts looked like a different team than the one that lost four of the past six games. They blew, however, their chance to earn a first-round bye.
The colts will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. Home-turf advantage - they have completed an unbeaten season at home ? and momentum will help them threw the game. But will it last? "It was a good effort and I`m looking forward to next week," said Coach Tony Dungy.
