Being arguably the greatest pitcher to ever throw a baseball, winning seven Cy Young awards and being only 44 years old will have rumors and guessing games about your possible return for yet another season float throughout the off season any time. This is especially true if your name is Roger Clemens and your nickname is The Rocket. Well, what are the chances that Clemens will return to pitch next season?

The pitcher has answered that question last week by giving himself just a 20 percent chance of return to the mound. Although his hometown team the Houston Astros and two former teams and rivals New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox would very much be willing to pay top money to have Clemens join at any part of the season, for a 24th professional season, he said chances are slim.
