New quarterback, same approach from T.O.

Terrell Owens` return to Philadelphia had all the making for another chapter in the continuing drama named after the five-time pro-bowler. Owens signed a three year deal worth 25 million dollars with the Dallas Cowboys after terminating his relations with the Eagles mid-way through last season. The Eagles banned Owens last year after he said the team would be better off with a different quarterback, then referring to Donovan McNabb. He said the team would have fared better with the Packers` Brett Favre at the quarterback position.

After Sunday`s 38-24 loss to the Eagles, in which Owens did not touch the ball for the entire first half and finished with only 45 receiving yards and three receptions, the receiver is making similar accusations at his current quarterback, Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe threw three interceptions in the loss. Two were passes intended for Owens. Owens` return to his previous home was not a pleasant experience for the receiver, neither on the field nor off it, with the fans calling O.D. with every pass he dropped, referring to his hospitalization over a week ago.

"You tell me, who`s pulling the trigger?" Owens asked in a press conference after the game. "I`m just out there doing my job. I`m not trying to point the finger at anybody." Dallas Cowboys coach Bill Parcells took the quarterback`s side and tried to deflect the blame to the offensive line, blaming it for most of Bledsoe`s mistakes. "He was under pretty good duress," Parcells said.
