Colts seek 10th straight win in Dallas
The Indianapolis Colts are 9-0 this season, and are the only team in NFL history to start two consecutive seasons with such a record. On Sunday they will visit the Cowboys in Dallas, and try to improve to 10-0. Last year they lost their first game only on their 14th match, but more importantly did not reach the super Bowl. This year, their regular season record is not a prime goal, and talks of an undefeated season are not discussed seriously around the team. The Colts goal is nothing less than the title.
Perhaps their close wins are a good sign. While last year, most of the colts` victories were blowouts, this year they have often been narrow victories, including last week`s 17-16 victory over Buffalo. Coach Tony Dungy thinks this might help his team in reaching their goal.
Tony Romo is confident entering the game and starting for the Cowboys at home for the first time at home. Romo, who took over at quarterback for Drew Bledsoe , is 2-1 as the starter for Dallas (5-4). In his last game against Arizona, he threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-29 passing. He has impressed and pleased Coach Bill Parcells with his performance, as with his previous two in which he passed for 250 yards or more. Terrell Owens has helped room in these games, and is tied for the league lead with seven TD catches.
