Close games in Week 10 in the NFL

The Indianapolis Colts remain the only team undefeated after 10 weeks of NFL action. In a league so even as this week`s games exemplify, their 9-0 record stands out even more so. The Colts beat the Buffalo Bills 17-16, behind short, accurate throws by Peyton Manning. Manning completed 27 of his 39 throws for 236 yards, and led a clock winding final drive to secure the win.

Five other games were decided by a score of a field goal or less. The Seattle Seahawks` kicker Josh Brown kicked a 38 yard field goal with 9 seconds left to play for a 24-22 win over the St. Louis Rams. It was the Rams` fourth straight loss. Seattle could be satisfied with a 6-3 record without running back Shaun Alexander and quarterback matt Hasselbeck.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Tennessee titans 27-26, behind quarterback Steve McNair`s brilliant 373 yards and three touchdown performance against his former team. The Jets beat the Pats 17-14 in a loaded meeting between coach Bill Belichick and his former prot?g? Eric Mangini. The Miami Dolphins beat the Kansas City chiefs 13-10, the Houston Texans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars by the same score.
