Florida Frenzy Indoor Football Team Goes Pro
The Florida Frenzy are joining the National Indoor Football League this spring, making South Florida the proud proprietor of a professional indoor football team. Florida Frenzy is operated by general manager Oronde Gadsden, former star Miami Dolphins wide receiver and owned by Howard Leonhardt. ?I am excited to bring action packed football to South Florida,? said team owner, Howard Leonhardt.
"With our sixth year approaching," says National Indoor Football League President Carolyn Shiver, "the NIFL has proven beyond doubt that it is a league of stability, and ready to take on the exciting challenge of new growth. The owners of the expansion teams are dedicated, proven business men and women who have embraced our league, and are geared up to provide fast paced indoor football and family entertainment to their respective areas."
The Florida Frenzy will take on the Osceola Football team in Orlando Florida March 19, kicking of the 2006 Season. Florida Frenzy is scheduled to play 7 regular season home game, beginning April 9 facing the Fayetteville Guard.
