Dolan Summons Knick Brass
James Dolan chairman of MSG entertainment summoned all the top-level Knick officials including Thomas and Brown to discuss the sad state of affairs that is the New York Knicks. Thomas was on his way to Europe on a scouting trip. That was before he was summoned to meet with Dolan. The Knicks situation grows worse by the day and by the hour.
While sources close to the Knicks confirm this is merely a team review meeting between Dolan, Thomas, and head coach Larry Brown, this could be Dolan?s way of letting the public know he isn?t very optimistic about the Knicks current situation. The poor eleven game slide this past month is the Knicks worst since the 1963 season.
Sure the backcourt of Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis may sound better. At least on paper it is impressive. Reality is a different story. Unfortunately for Knicks fans, the win-loss record is right on pace with that Knicks ?63 team. The Knicks are currently 15-41. Only the Charlotte Bobcats (15-43) have a worse record in the NBA.
