Colangelo Accepts Job as New Raptors GM

Brian Colangelo has accepted the Toronto Raprtors offer and will become the teams new General Manager. Colangelo is regarded as one of the best GM?s in the business and has gained the respect of other GM?s from around the league. A testament to the great job he has done in Phoenix is that even without Amare the Suns are hot. the Suns success looks like it is driven from the point. Nash has not missed any games this season and has kept this team on the same wave as last season. If the point is key here the big man can?t be underrated.

The bench is an energy punch on offense. Overlooked is the coach who has taken these pieces and put together a tactical offense that can take a team apart, didn?t someone say the best defense is a good offense. This year the regular season is just the start and the expectations are high for the post-season, but can the Suns style carry the post-season, it hasn?t yet, and as long as the post season is ruled by defense it most likely won?t.

Marion has stepped up and filled in for the loss of Amare, leading the Suns in scoring, rebounds, steals and blocks. When Amare returns they could be unstoppable or it could all come apart, but as long as Nash runs the show all the pieces should fit. This team doesn?t have just one scorer, it?s a group effort, which is why they lead the league in points per game, FT% and assists and are second in FG% and 3P%.
