Heat Completes Turnaround and Gets Their First NBA Title
No one believed that the NBA Finals series will end the way it did on Tuesday, with Miami winning their first-ever NBA title. Dwyane Wade showed his great skills once again scoring 39 points and practically winning the game for the Heat. The NBA Finals series began with two wins for Dallas, but Miami proved to be the better them and completed their amazing turnaround.
The Heat opened the game badly and the scored at the end of the first quarter was 26:18 to the Mavericks. During the second quarter Miami picked up and stormed Dallas until the very end of the game. The final scored was 95:93 ? and Miami became the 2006 NBA Champions.
The MVP of the series is clearly Dwayne Wade. "I don`t want to say I put the team on my back. You know, we did it together. Like Coach said, like we`ve all been saying, it`s been 15 strong," Wade said. "They gave me the opportunity by putting the ball in my hands to prove people wrong. When I came [into] the series, it was, I can`t shoot. I don`t know where they got that from. So I proved to them I can shoot, and then after that, I proved I can play, and that`s all I tried to do: prove people wrong."
