England Team Arrives to Germany

England national soccer team has set foot in Germany this week and started their final perpetrations for their opening Group B match on Saturday. England fans will be happy to know that Wayne Rooney was among the British players who landed in Germany, and started training with the rest of the team. Rooney`s latest progress leaves fans optimistic regarding his World Cup performance.

Rooney continued to work with the England medical team during the week before flying back to Manchester for a scan on Wednesday. England`s coach, Sven-Goran Eriksson, is still confidant that his key player will be fit to help England make their World Cup win aspirations a reality. Once Rooney`s scan results are known, we will all have a clearer picture of Manchester United`s player.

England will face Paraguay on Saturday for their opening World Cup match, following by Sweden and Trinidad & Tobago. England`s group is not easy and lacking Rooney might prove crucial. The second winner of group B will face the winner of group A, expectedly Germany. If England`s World Cup fate is to meet Germany, they better have Rooney with them by then.
